RedvsRed Week 12 ATS Pick'em Challenge

Each week Red vs Red will bring you our prognostications, plus one guest picker each week, on what we deem to be the most interesting games of the week (or the easiest pick).  A huge thank you goes out to our guest picker this week, Chad from D.C.

Week of November 20

No. 6 Wisconsin @ Michigan +4.5
Badger:  Michigan's defense is worse than Indiana's so you would expect Montee Ball and James White to have a field day with them.  Wisconsin struggles in the state of Michigan.  Wisconsin 28 Michigan 27

Bugeater:  Michigan's No 100 ranked total defense will have a tougher time stopping the Wisconsin running game then Wisconsin will have stopping Michigan's.  Denard Robinson is a super star and will make this game interesting enough to watch.  Wisconsin 35 Michigan 28

Chad:  Wisconsin 35 Michigan 27

No. 14 Virginia Tech @  No. 24 Miami +3.0
Badger:  Miami is a team it total disarray, Va Tech seems to have figured it out.  Virginia Tech 31 Miami 13

Bugeater:  Virginia Tech's QB Tyrod Taylor plays at a very high level each week, he's nails.  Tech will need to play near flawless to beat a good Miami team in Miami.   Miami has put together a good D, and with the crowd in their favor they might just pull this one out.  Virginia Tech 31 Miami 29

Chad:  Va Tech 24 Miami 17

No. 8 Ohio State @ No. 21 Iowa +3.0
Badger:  Iowa just gets worse and worse every week.  Ohio State 38 Iowa 10

Bugeater:  Ohio State's QB Terrelle Pryor would be an adequate pick for the Heisman and he will lead the Buckeyes to more than a few points against Iowa's defense.  Iowa is coming off an embarrassing loss to Northwestern (at least on paper they were favored) and will need to play lights out to beat a very solid OSU team.  Ohio State 32 Iowa 24

Chad:  Ohio State 30 Iowa 20

No. 9 Nebraska @ No. 18 Texas A&M +2.5
Badger:  With a simple QB change Texas A&M entrenched themselves as the second best team in Texas (including the Cowboys and Texans).  Kyle Field will be electric, we'll see how much TMagic "loves playing against road games."  Texas A&M 41 Nebraska 24

Bugeater:  Taylor Martinez claims to be 100%, it sure didn't look like it during runs in the Kansas game.  The Huskers continue to put the ball on the turf and luckily it hasn't lead to a loss, yet.  The switch to Tannehill at QB for A&M has sparked an offensive explosion and started a four game win streak.  The one problem for the Aggies, they face the best defense in the nation.  The Blackshirts have made opposing quarterback look like  second stringers.  Nebraska 29 Texas 16

Chad:  Nebraska 42 Texas A&M 27

Florida State @ Maryland +4.0
Badger:  I'm actually starting to buy into FSU, the coaching change has done them good.  Florida State 35 Maryland 18

Bugeater:  Florida State (7-3) looks pretty average this year, recently losing to both North Carolina schools in back-to-back weeks.  Maryland is also 7-3 but doesn't have a single quality win.  Toss up game and the coin goes to:  Maryland 28 Florida State 23

Chad:  Maryland 27 Florida State 24

No. 16 Oklahoma @ Baylor +6.5
Badger:  Baylor doesn't have the athletes to hang with Broyles and Murray.  Oklahoma 29 Baylor 13
Bugeater:  I was surprised to see OU lose at A&M, they just couldn't keep anything going in that game.  OU bounced back last week and looks to keep things on track for another Big 12 South crown.  Baylor lost to A&M last week and OKIE State the week before.  I thought they had something special going this year?
Oklahoma 43 Baylor 24

Chad:  Oklahoma 33 Baylor 17

Tie breaker:  Pick the UPSET of the week (must be an underdog and win game outright)

Badger:  Army vs Notre Dame -8 @ Yankee Stadium. Army is tough and physical and Notre Dame is not.  They put hurting on an extremely overrated Utah team last week, it won't be easy this week.  Army 31 Notre Dame 14

Bugeater:  Standford @ California +6.5.  Stanford's band gets all crazy and storms the field and then Cal scores a game winning touchdown.  Instant classic.  California 35 Stanford 34

Chad:  SDSU over Utah

Now it's your turn.  Leave your picks as a comment below to see how you stack up against the “experts”.  Make sure to include a tie breaker pick.  We will give the results no later than Monday.  Thanks for visiting redvsred.com
